Carlos Antequera is co-founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of Netchemia, a Kansas City based firm providing data-driven, Internet-based software and services for K-12 educational organizations. Carlos is responsible for the vision and strategic foundation upon which Netchemia products and services are based. Since its founding in 2001, Netchemia has been able to empower school districts through the deployment of needs-specific solutions that help streamline administrative process.

Netchemia received the Technology and Learning Magazine’s Award of Excellence 2006, Ingram’s Magazine 2005 Future of Business Award-Kansas City and the Kansas City Small Business Journal’s 2004 Top 25 Under 25 Award.

Carlos had a five-year tenure with Data Systems International (DSI), where he was instrumental in the architecture and development of a leading data collection system for ERP applications.

Carlos received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics from Washburn University. He received his MBA in International Business from the University of Kansas.

Carlos serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, recently completed the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Herman Johnson mentorship and was accepted into the 2008 Helzberg mentorship program.
