Jeff Reene is President of Leadership for Growth, a consulting firm that helps business leaders solve growth and execution challenges. He has 20+ years of growth company experience as an entrepreneur, consultant and senior executive.

He is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer of the University of Kansas Cancer Center which is pursuing National Cancer Institute designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Reene was Executive Vice President for Cerner Corporation from 1991 to 1999 and worked with the founders to grow the business from $50M to $400M in revenue and from 300 to 3,000 people.

At Beckloff Associates, Reene was engaged to help aggressively grow the company by creating a new leadership structure, designing scalable processes and infrastructure and implementing key performance metrics.

As COO of GeoAccess, he created a scalable organization structure, managed day-to-day operations and software development and helped position the company for sale of the business (acquired by United Health Group in 2002).

Reene serves as Vice Chairman of the Enterprise Center of Johnson County Board, a KTEC PIPELINE Entrepreneurship Program mentor, a member of the Mid-America Angels network and is on several advisory boards. He received a Director’s Award for Entrepreneurial Achievement from the Kauffman Foundation. Reene is an honors graduate of the University of Illinois where he received a BA in Finance with High Distinction and a Masters in Business Administration.
